Joseph Weworski
Joe is the Managing Partner of Weworski & Associates. Immediately prior to forming W&A, he was a Partner at one of Orange County, California’s top twenty CPA firms. Earlier in his career, he worked in the audit and consulting department for one of Sacramento County’s top ten CPA firms. He has been the lead auditor on financial statement audit and financial aid audit engagements for over 150 schools. In addition, Joe is responsible for clients in the fields of construction, bio-technology, manufacturing and other industries.

Mr. Weworski is active in state and national organizations representing the school industry and has been a keynote speaker at various functions on the topics of strategic planning, financial responsibility and auditing. Mr. Weworski earned his degree in accounting from California State University, Sacramento. He is a Certified Public Accountant with active membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Michael Facer
Mike is a Senior Partner with the Firm. Prior to joining Weworski, Mike was a member of the audit department of one of Orange County, California’s top twenty CPA firms. He has performed audits for over 100 schools across the nation and has been instrumental in providing consulting services on various accounting and financial aid issues. He also conducts financial aid due diligence projects for clients interested in acquiring schools.

Mr. Facer is a regular participant in national conferences covering the technical aspects of auditing financial statements and financial aid compliance for colleges and universities. He earned his degrees in accounting and finance from Arizona State University and is a Certified Public Accountant with current membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Thomas Mead
Tom is the newest Partner with the Firm. Prior to joining W&A, he was a member of the audit department of one of the national “Big 4” accounting firms in Orange County, California. He excels in providing quality and timely customer service to our clients. Mr. Mead has extensive experience in auditing, accounting and financial due diligence and conducts training of W&A personnel.

Mr. Mead earned his bachelors degree in economics and his masters degree in accountancy from San Diego State University and is a Certified Public Accountant with current membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Scott Haid
Scott is a Senior Manager with the Firm. Scott performs financial statement audits, defined contribution audits and consulting services for the firm. He provides quality auditing services in an efficient and timely manner. He has experience in accounting, financial reporting, auditing and due diligence procedures.

Mr. Haid is a regular participant in the Western Pension & Benefits Conference – San Diego Chapter. He earned his degree in accounting from San Diego State University and is a Certified Public Accountant with current membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
